This lovely lovely comes from a super cool blog, Oh Ladycakes (which I highly recommend you check out!) and I had to share it because it’s quite tasty. And uses good-for-you ingredients.
What you’ll need:
• 1 1/2 cup raw almonds
• 1 cup raw cashews
• 1 cup shredded coconut
• 1/4 cup cacao powder
• Pinch of salt
• 10-12 medjool dates
• 1/4 cup raw nut milk or water
First up, line a pan with parchment paper and set aside.
Combine the first 5 ingredients in your food processor and blend until thoroughly combined.
Next chop and add the dates – pulse your processor until they’re all mixed in.
Now gradually pour in the water and use your hands to work it into a dough.
And press into your pan. I used the back of a spatula to smooth the surface.
Top with coconut and sea salt. Mmmmm...
