Spiced Chocolate Avocado Pudding

This is so yummy! I know avocado pudding has been done. And done. But this recipe is just too good not to share. I played around with ingredients and measurements and came up with a winner. Pure maple syrup and a dash of cayenne set this pudding apart from the others. And the silky, fudgey texture is to die for.

What you’ll need:

• 2 ripe avocados

• 1/2 cup pure maple syrup

• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

• 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional) (...but encouraged)

• 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

• 1 1/2 ripe bananas

• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

• Pinch of salt

Yields approx 6 servings

This couldn’t be simpler. Cut up your lovely avocado and add to you food processor or blender, along with the rest of your ingredients.

Beautiful pudding in minutes. All that’s left is to chill and serve :).

I garnished with a little shaved chocolate, just for pretty. Not bad for dairy-free, gluten-free, processed sugar-free, hm? And it’s seriously delicious!
