Rainbow Bundt Cake

Serve up some pretty little rainbows this Saint Patty’s Day! Would you just look at this? Hands down, the brightest, happiest cake I’ve ever made. And it’s practically fail-proof.

For real.

What you’ll need:

• White cake mix + ingredients it calls for

• Food coloring – I had green, yellow, red, and blue, so I mixed up my own purple and orange

• Powdered sugar for dusting the top when it’s done (optional – I ended up not using it. Just thought it was too pretty to add anything)

Mix up your white cake batter...

And separate it into six equal amounts. Then add your color to each bowl.

Grease your bundt cake pan well, and add your first layer. Start with red, and smooth it out evenly with the back of a spoon. Add each color, in order. They won’t layer perfectly, but that’s totally fine.

Make sure the batter’s even and pop it in the oven at the temp your box instructs. Mine baked up perfectly in 34 minutes.
